TechInPacific – The Fiji leading retailer in smart products, Al Hamd Smart Living, has just celebrated its 6th store opening (06/11) located in the Main Street Nadi.

Al Hamd Managing Director, Ashfaaq Khan is the least worried about opening new shops amidst the current pandemic. He is confident that the store can manage well due to the shops’ capability to offer products that customers desire.

“There’s a lot of changes in customers’ taste of goods and services, and we have blended well with what is required and that is what keeps us going during COVID.”

Minister for Women, Children, and Poverty Alleviation Rosy Akbar was among the attendees of the event, shared that the latest investment by Al Hamd is a major tell-tale of business owners on a larger scale to be ready to build the country’s economy, which is echoed by Khan himself.

“We are confident with the 80,000 investment, as the country points in the direction of economic growth,” Khan says.

The store management is impressive in that not only does it manage to keep all staff from being dismissed; it also adds three more employees to the group. This is indeed a call of hope for people, that circumstance doesn’t always block opportunities, at times we just need to be the ones who open them.

What’s next?

Khan said a 7th store is underway in Nakasi, but for now, customers can enjoy discounts and a new catalogue of lights products.
