Deal Sealed, ABG, and PNG on More Equal Partnership

TechInPacific – The President of the Bougainville Government Ishmael Toroama meeting with PNG Prime Minister James Marape last week discussed the direction of recent public affairs.

Among the topic discussed were the upcoming Joint Supervisory Body (JSB) and consultation meeting planned on 8-10 December in the capital, Port Moresby. The two key officials also tap into the matters of Bougainville’s COVID-19 response, how inter-government funding is arranged, and in regards to the autonomous disagreement.

According to the president, both governments have agreed to equally implement the Bougainville Peace Agreement.
