Digital technologies help business goals grow: Kamikamica

Manoa Kamikamica, Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communications, says the country needs targeted digital skills to “turbo charge” and keep up its digital transformation.

He says people must create, maintain, and improve digital tools and technologies to meet changing needs.

Kamikamica says that the rise of the digital economy has helped Fiji in many ways, such as by creating more jobs, making it easier to get goods and services, and boosting the country’s economic growth.

As I said earlier, digital tools and technologies will have to be designed, maintained, and improved by people to meet changing needs.

According to Kamikamica, digital technology has enabled firms to enter new industries and customers to access a larger selection of items at reasonable costs.
