Nonga Base Hospital Received Medical Equipment Worth K500,000

TechInPacific – Nonga Base Hospital has received donated medical pieces of equipment from Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited.

The equipment is consisted of Defribillator with a portable ventilator, ECG machine, ultrasound machine, bedside monitor, and accessories, while valued at K500,000 according to Kumul Petroleum CEO, William Bando.

“With the COVID-19 pandemic and positive cases of COVID-19 in East New Britain, we have been stretched beyond the limit to provide the quality of care to our patients with limited emergency medical equipment,” Chief Executive Officer of East New Britain Provincial Health Authority, Dr.

Ako Yap said.

“This donation by Kumul Petroleum in response to our call for support will greatly help Nonga Base Hospital serve the people of East New Britain and the New Guinea Islands region.
