PNG Job Board Launched For Youths

TechInPacific – The latest job board coming from PNG launched on Sunday (25/10). The man behind the project is a young volunteer Humanitarian Development Advocate Lazarus Towa, who has been assisting over 600 job seekers for job vacancies.

With over 193k community members on Facebook, Mr. Towa’s effort varies from reposting job opening, editing CVs, writing job application letters, giving tips on a job interview, and overseas scholarship information.

His recently launched website is dedicated to all job seekers in PNG, which include a job board, job posting, and the services he offered, from CV and cover letter editing to printing, VISA, and passport application service and tips on a job interview.

“The inner satisfaction I get when someone succeeded in getting a job is the best reward money cannot buy,” Mr. Towa said.

His vision remains for the job board to reduce employment rates, increasing literacy, and the education standard for the PNG youth.
