In September 2018, TraSeable Solutionswon the Pacific Agri-Hack Award for its initiative—the Integrated Mobile and Web-based Market and Transport Access Platform for Pacific Farmers–on the CTA Pacific AgriHack Lab competition held in Toga. The new initiative has potential for scaling up as well as for business expansion.
The TraSeable Farms platform helps farmers to access markets and transportations to distribute their products. Through the platform, farmers, buyers, and logistic providers are all connected and get benefited from the service.
The TraSeable Farms platform focuses on developing three primary areas of the agriculture value chain, including farmer training, market access and consumer trust, and logistics. The platform will be complimented by locally designed blockchain technology in the second half of 2019.
As TraSeable Solutionsparticipated in pre-pitching AgriHack preparation training that helped the startup to refine its ideas. The event also provided a great opportunity for the startup to network with future clients and develop its business.
Fortunate enough, the startup was selected to win a prize along with other winners, My Kana from Fiji and MalaAgri from the Solomon Islands. Each of them received €5,000 to help them develop their solutions. As for TraSeable Solutions, the prize helped them to develop TraSeable Farms platform as well as hire an additional local software developer to make the platform ready to use this year soon.
