TraSeable Solutions to Represent Fiji at the SeedStars Asia and Global Summit in Cambodia and Switzerland

TechInPacific – Through an announcement on its Facebook page, TraSeable Solutions has won the SeedStars Suva and will represent Fiji at the SeedStars Asia Summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia this year. Moreover, it will also participate at the Global SeedStars event in Lausanne Switzerland in April next year. The inaugural SeedStars Suva Pitch Competition 2019 was held at the University of the South Pacific on Thursday, August 15th, 2019. 

TraSeable Solutions’ founder, Kenneth Katafano pitched to in front of six members of jury including from Beacon Venture Capital, Seedstars, Digital Ventures, Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Investment Fiji, and Pacific Islands Private Sector Organization. 

The second and third place winners of the competition are Eco Conscious and Mama’s Mushroom. They will take part in Seedstars’ Investment Readiness Program along with the first winner, TraSeable Solutions. Additionally, they will also receive a 3-month mentorship program to polish their pitch. 

The SeedStars Suva Pitching Competition 2019 is a collaborative event by the Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme (PFIP), UNCDF, GSMA, the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the University of the South Pacific. 

TraSeable Solutions was founded in 2017 by Fijian husband and wife, Kenneth and Shauna Tagaloa Katafano. Both of them have more than a decade of work experience in the ICT roles in the Pacific region as well as at national and regional fisheries. With their experiences and skills, they offer a solution to some challenges in the Fisheries sector in the region.
