yher Accelerator Targets More Pacific Nations

yher accelerator began a successful social venture that runs global campaigns. It has managed to accelerate 300 startup impact ventures in five countries. Moreover, it has helped in changing the lives of over 400,000 poor people from those countries. Additionally, it has been the first one to invest in some largest startups in South Africa and Kenya. The accelerator does not take equity in one’s business or rather they do not even charge for their program. They take people through a  tried and tested curriculum, more so BY women For women. Furthermore, it does not only grow them but it also improves an entrepreneur as a whole.

The accelerator believes that women are important architects of the society. Furthermore, women are vibrant.  It also believes that women are the main players causing the required change in the world. The platform has been successful in its yher program in Africa. Africa is having the highest number of women studying entrepreneurship per capita compared to the rest of the world. The accelerator is committed to increasing their sourcing for unrivaled women entrepreneurs. The program is making inroads in the Pacific in the move to expand its search.

It offers a one-week intensive program based on entrepreneurship. The program aims at fast-tracking one’s early-stage businesses. The program offers mentorship and training.  It also connects individuals to a group of other women entrepreneurs working tirelessly to have a better world. Throughout the week of the program, attendants will be connected to a network of mentors. The mentors will offer them a pool of entrepreneurial experience that will help them build a strong strategy for growth and impact.

Moreover, the program gives one an opportunity to work with potential mentors, supporters, and founders. They also get a chance to showcase their business at the end of the week accompanied by invite-only tea event. The program winners will take home funding worth $25,000. This will be winners of audience votes and peer review. Additionally, they will have a chance to qualify for Growth support. This will include the current tailored support and investment funding of around $10,000 to $50,000 to help grow their businesses.

What are the qualifications for one forwards their application? One must have a female co-founder in their startups who will take part in the program. Applicants must understand the nature or magnitude of the problem they want to solve. The business must be in existence to improve people’s lives especially those living in poverty. Business with a mission of supporting girls and women stands a better chance. The business must have 100 customers, and have been in operation for less than two years. Those in Bangladesh are highly encouraged to apply to access funding, support, and training for their business. The program will take place in Nadi Fiji on 9th to 14th September 2018. Application for the intake is ongoing.
