RH Hypermarket Partnered With For Online Payment Service

TechInPacific – RH Hypermarket has become the first supermarket in PNG to join the BSP e-commerce platform along with its online payment service launch on Friday (18/09).

The service is intended for grocery shoppers to ease the process of their transactions.

“Through this integration with BSP, we are able to provide our customers a one-stop-shop and added convenience. Customers can simply go to our website, create an account, shop, pay, and pick up at the store or select delivery,” General Manager, RH Hypermarket Ltd, Cheng Chooi Ang said.

This wasn’t the market’s first attempt in launching an online payment service. On 1 May, it limited the service to holders of Wantok gift card only and a scheduled pick up at Vision City. The growth of service has pushed it to implement delivery service with FMCG Xpress help in August, and eventually, a partnership with BSP, which has 14 operating merchants on its e-commerce platform.

RH Hypermarket started in 1992 to provide high-quality retail and wholesale products in Port Moresby and Lae with its ‘where your kina buys more’ slogan. The availability of online payment to its business offers convenience for shoppers.
