Three Techlab PNG Events Open for Registration

TechInAfrica – Techlab PNG will run three events in a week from May 14th– 18th, 2019. The series of events are initiated by the Australian Government in partnership with the Government of Papua New Guinea.

The events are already opened for registration. Entrepreneurs and small business owners are encouraged to apply for the events. Here is the detail for each event:

  • Tech Community Meetup

It’s a platform for entrepreneurs and small business leaders to discuss various related topics and engage with other like-minded people around the technology space monthly. This month meetup will take place on Tuesday, May 14th, starting from 5.30pm – 7.30pm at Paradise Cinema, Vision City Mall, Port Moresby.

This month’s event will feature a discussion with Dr. Patrick Koliwan and a Techlab Accelerator participant who will share his knowledge and experience about entrepreneurship and technology.

  • Workshop

The Solution in a Day workshop will feature a demonstration of ways to use technology and data to overcome business needs. Attendees will learn on how to build a client registration app using simple and efficient technics. Moreover, attendees will also learn about a business, technology, and data planning in order to achieve win-win solution for the business and customers.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, May 16th, at Paradise Cinema, Vision City Mall, Port Moresby. The event will also featureTechlab PNGMentors Andy Barker, Matt Morrison, and Grant Liptrot, where they will present various types of technologies, ranging from website and app development to data analytics.

  • Seminar

Techlab PNG’s seminar will feature data analytics to tell the business story. The Techlab PNG’s mentor, Matt Morrison will demonstrate the data analytics and how to use it to achieve success, find new business opportunities, and optimize resources.
