Fiji owns the best broadband speed in Pacific Islands

TechInPacific – According to a recent worldwide survey on internet speed, Fiji is said to bear  the fastest broadband among the five Pacific Islands countries that were analyzed.

Indeed, in the official worldwide broadband speed league 2019, Fiji was ranked 115th. The neighbor, New Caledonia, is in close proximity as it ranked 119th.

Other Pacific nations were placed significantly lower for instance with Guam ranked 127th, Papua New Guinea 156th and French Polynesia in 176th.

Thanks to their well-known internet speed, Taiwan and Singapore remains in top global positions.

New Zealand was ranked 17th while Australia is in 50th position.

The United States is in 15th place and China, surprisingly, is in 152nd.
