Digicel Fiji Prepares for 5G Deployment

Digicel Fiji has partnered with Nokia to enhance cell tower sites nationwide in anticipation of the launch of 5G connectivity for its customers. 

Digicel Fiji is making significant strides in Suva with the ongoing upgrades, as the company prepares for the imminent completion of 5G testing and regulatory approvals by the Government.

Nokia’s state-of-the-art technology will not only help us maintain but also enhance coverage nationwide, elevating mobile internet speeds and embracing revolutionary innovations such as 5G,” stated Farid Mohammed, CEO of Digicel Fiji.

Jae Won, the Head of APAC (Asia-Pacific) at Nokia, expressed enthusiasm about their company’s support for their partner, Digicel Fiji, in launching the network infrastructure project.
